Helios Brooch
- Eclectic +5
- Elaborate +5
- Counts toward a Brooch requirement
Read from game data build 25482629, not written by hand.
What does this accessory help with?
Five answers, all of them read from this decoration's own row in the game data.
Good for
The styles it raises, strongest first. Placing several of them is not the same as multiplying this number.
What does it count as?
The rules a brief can hold this decoration against, named the way the brief names them.
Counts toward
A brief asks for a number of these, and every one you place counts.
Count and length are different things: placing three buttons counts three buttons, while a length of trim is measured along the edge it runs down. This one is counted per decoration.
How accessories workPlacement & cost
How this decoration goes onto a dress, and what the game charges for it.
- Placement
- Individual decorationPlaced one at a time.
- Cost
- 25 eachOne price for every one you place, whether it is the first on the dress or the tenth.
- Counted as
- One accessory per decorationEach one you place is another accessory on the dress, which is what a count rule reads.
Whether a brief counts pieces or measures a length decides which of these matters, and the two are never added together.
Style contribution
The weights this decoration declares, strongest first.
Bars are drawn against the strongest contribution any accessory declares, so two bars in this list mean the same thing.
Several accessories pulling at the same style do not simply add up: after the first, each further accessory contributes less. The number above is this decoration on its own.
How style scores workEvery accessory you place also counts toward the dress's Elaborate score, whatever styles it declares.

Helios Brooch questions
How do I unlock Helios Brooch?
Helios Brooch unlocks when your Prestige reaches 40, and that is the only gate on it: accessories never come from a character relationship.
Does Helios Brooch count as a Brooch?
Yes. Helios Brooch is an individual Brooch decoration, so each one you place counts toward a brief that asks for a Brooch.
Do multiple copies of Helios Brooch count?
Yes. If a brief asks for a Brooch count, every copy you place adds to that total — the count is how many are on the dress, not how many different kinds.
What styles does Helios Brooch add?
Helios Brooch contributes to Eclectic +5, Elaborate +5 and Eveningwear +5.
How much does Helios Brooch cost?
Helios Brooch costs 25 in the game’s own price units.
Which commissions use Helios Brooch?
3 published briefs measure Brooch, and a placed Brooch contributes to every one of them. The board above links to them.
What can I use before Helios Brooch unlocks at Prestige 40?
Decorations that unlock earlier and do a similar job: Abalone Saucer Button, Bronze Shank Button, Pearl Shank Button and Amber Velvet Skinny Bow.
