What the achievements are made of
6 of them wait on no commission at all. They ask for something you do to a dress — a quality mark, metres of trim, a pile of accessories — or for a spend, or for one line of dialogue, and no order you finish will bring them in.
The rest collect a group of commissions: a client's whole order, or every dress one occasion asks for. Each card lists those commissions in the order they arrive, with a link to the page that owns each one.

How achievement tracking works
Progress is kept in this browser and nowhere else. An achievement that counts commissions fills in as you tick those commissions on the board, along with the ones whose whole set the board can see end to end; nothing here reads your Steam account.
A condition that happens inside the game — a dress sewn to a target, a spend, a line of dialogue — cannot be watched from outside it. Those cards say so, and leave the tick to you.

Achievement questions
How many achievements are in Dressmaker?
32, and they are not one kind of thing: ten belong to a customer's whole order, fourteen to a single occasion, five to something you do to a dress, and three to progress or a choice.
Does Dressmaker have hidden achievements?
16 of them are hidden on Steam, so the store page does not print what sets them off. Here they are listed like the rest, with the condition kept behind a reveal until you ask for it.
Which achievements come from a customer's story?
Ten — one per customer, and each waits on their whole order rather than on a single dress. That makes them the longest to finish and the easiest to leave one brief short, which is why each card lists the customer's commissions in order.

No. Progress is kept in this browser and entered by hand, except where an achievement counts commissions you have already ticked on the commission board — those fill in by themselves. The completion checklist reads the same ticks, so the two never disagree.

Quality is scored across the whole garment from grain line, fit and sewing accuracy, so one panel placed carelessly is enough to miss it. The guide walks through the three, and the calculator scores a dress before you commit the fabric.

Because the condition is not the achievement. Every part this site can count is done, and whether it popped is something only the game knows — ticking it here is you confirming that it did.

Switch the list to what is left — 32 of them right now — and the panel beside the bar and the section under the cards read the remainder by what it is about and by how little of it is left.
