Silver Sunshine Lace
- Cute +5
- Playful +5
- Can satisfy a Lace Trim length
Read from game data build 25482629, not written by hand.
What does this accessory help with?
Five answers, all of them read from this decoration's own row in the game data.
Good for
The styles it raises, strongest first. Placing several of them is not the same as multiplying this number.
Cost
By the length you place
A path decoration is paid for by the length you draw rather than by the item, so the total follows your design and not a count.
What does it count as?
The rules a brief can hold this decoration against, named the way the brief names them.
Can satisfy
A brief measures the length this decoration is applied over, not how many pieces you used.
Count and length are different things: placing three buttons counts three buttons, while a length of trim is measured along the edge it runs down. This one is measured along the edge, so how much of it you use is what the brief reads.

- Can satisfy a length rule
Whether a brief counts pieces or measures a length decides which of these matters, and the two are never added together.
Style contribution
The weights this decoration declares, strongest first.
Bars are drawn against the strongest contribution any accessory declares, so two bars in this list mean the same thing.
Several accessories pulling at the same style do not simply add up: after the first, each further accessory contributes less. The number above is this decoration on its own.
How style scores workEvery accessory you place also counts toward the dress's Elaborate score, whatever styles it declares.

Silver Sunshine Lace questions
How do I unlock Silver Sunshine Lace?
Silver Sunshine Lace unlocks when your Prestige reaches 23, and that is the only gate on it: accessories never come from a character relationship.
Does Silver Sunshine Lace satisfy a Lace Trim length requirement?
Yes. Silver Sunshine Lace is applied along an edge, so the game measures the length of Lace Trim you place rather than counting pieces.
Is Silver Sunshine Lace counted by item or by length?
By length. A Lace Trim is measured along the edge it runs down, so placing more of it covers more of the requirement.
What styles does Silver Sunshine Lace add?
Silver Sunshine Lace contributes to Cute +5, Playful +5 and Romantic +3.
How much does Silver Sunshine Lace cost?
Silver Sunshine Lace costs 2 in the game’s own price units, and what you actually spend depends on the length you place.
Which commissions use Silver Sunshine Lace?
3 published briefs measure Lace Trim, and a placed Lace Trim contributes to every one of them. The board above links to them.
What can I use before Silver Sunshine Lace unlocks at Prestige 23?
Decorations that unlock earlier and do a similar job: Abalone Saucer Button, Amber Velvet Skinny Bow, Black Silk Square Bow and Black Sunshine Lace.
